Ford Duratec Kit Car Escort RWD Low Profile Oil Pan Sump DIY Baffled Race

This is a DIY weld your own flat pack kit - the pics of welded assemblies are for illustration only. They allow you to build your own low profile, fully baffled wet sump for the 1.8/2.0/2.3 Ford Duratec/MZR engine which is now commonly used in kit cars and engine swaps in MK1/Mk2 Escorts etc.

These sumps measure 76mm (3) overall depth when complete. This makes the bottom of the sump level with the bottom of the various bell housings commonly used in RWD applications.

Supplied with full instructions - all you need to complete is a welder, about 2 hours. A much cheaper alternative to other options on the market if you can fabricate. All 1.5mm thick mild steel except the flange which is 6mm for easy welding. 1 off 6mm thick main flange. 1 off 6mm thick front.

1 off 1.5mm thick back. 2 off 1.5mm thick sides (one long and one short). 4 off Ø5mm x 75mm long hinge pins.

1 off 1.5mm thick bottom. 1 off M12 sump plug nut. 1 off M12 sump plug. 1 off 12mm copper washer. 1 off 100mm length steel tube (for dipstick).
